Many international employees are not registered with a Dutch general practitioner. This is often because they are here temporarily, or because they find arranging GP care complicated.
This can and should be done differently!
Especially for them – and therefore for you – there is Fonkelzorg International. We make family medicine accessible and are happy to explain how Dutch healthcare works. Moreover, we help you in your own language, so you understand exactly what is involved and what is possible. Our International team speaks English, Polish, Bulgarian, Romanian, Spanish and, of course, Dutch. So you never have to worry about language barriers.
We always have room for new patients and work with you to find the best solution for your medical question. Thus, we provide care that is qualitative, appropriate and fully tailored to your situation.

That’s why we make sure we always have room for new international patients and we provide care in multiple languages. When there is no language barrier, the quality of care is higher. This is how we provide care with a smile day in and day out. The best care for our patients always comes first.

You will come across Floortje Fonkelfee a lot at Fonkelzorg! She is not just a mascot; she is the vibrant heart of Fonkelzorg! Optimistic to the tips of her wings and always full of energy, she flutters around with her magic wand, looking for new ways to make care even better. Floortje is eager to learn and curious – she loves discovering new things and inspiring others with her ideas. But beware, she is also a little mischievous. Sometimes she pulls little pranks to shake things up, because she knows: a little humor can do wonders.
Her passion for care is contagious. Floortje reminds us that care may be not only professional, but also warm, innovative and full of a zest for life. 💫
