Ben je tijdelijk of voor langere tijd in Nederland, of heb je nog een eigen arts in je thuisland? Dan is het belangrijk om je ook in Nederland in te schrijven bij een huisarts.<\/p>\n

In Nederland is de huisarts altijd het eerste medische aanspreekpunt<\/strong>. De huisarts is breed opgeleid en helpt bij de meeste zorgvragen. Als het nodig is, word je doorverwezen naar een specialist.<\/p>\n

Bij gezondheidsklachten ga je dus eerst naar je eigen huisarts en niet direct naar het ziekenhuis. Goed om te weten: vaak kan de huisarts je al goed helpen. Zorg bij de huisarts valt onder de basisverzekering. Een ziekenhuisbezoek brengt vaak extra kosten met zich mee.<\/strong><\/p>\n
